Community Connections

Brad Lancaster

Since 1993 Brad has run a successful permaculture consulting, design, and education business focused on integrated and sustainable approaches to landscape design, planning, and living.

Amanda lived here in the late 90′s and Ampersand periodically hosts roving bands of work-trading Arconauts.

Permaculture Credit Union

Ampersand is happy that this fine institution is based in Santa Fe. We love banking with them!

Gourmet Books

Adam Rubinstein, designer par excellence, has crafted Ampersand’s print materials since 2012. Albuquerque-based and a joy to work with; we can’t recommend him highly enough!

New Mexico Solar Energy Association

Our local solar group. We speak at their annual Solar Fiesta in Albuquerque.

Bioneers: Cultivating Women’s Leadership

The whole Bioneers organization is amazing, of course, but Amanda has participated in this Women’s Leadership Program (CWL I and II) with Nina Simons and Toby Herlzlich and it’s a great, great thing.

Deborah Eden Tull

We have collaborated with Eden on several projects. She is an author, teacher, sustainablity life coach, and long time Ampersand friend and supporter.

Greywater Action

Cleo Woelfle-Erskine of Greywater Action (formerly Greywater Guerillas) came to Ampersand to teach a class in 2009. It was a big hit and they are a great source for greywater information.

Albuquerque Center for Peace and Justice

This is a great organization- an Albuquerque hub. And they are our fiscal sponsors for nonprofit status.

Oasis Designs

This is Art Ludwig’s site. His website can be a great educational resource. He’s written several small books on greywater systems, developed the branched drain systems- a trusted source.

Homegrown New Mexico

This is a great hub for New Mexicans who want to take personal responsibility for growing, raising, making and storing healthy food.
