Plant Sale

Come to Madrid and get some seedlings for your garden!

We have a crazy number of varieties listed below. Some are in short supply so come early!

The veggie starts $2 each, herbs and specialty plants $3. 50 to $4 each.

Here’s what we’ve been growing for May 12th:

Greens:

Red Russian Kale, Blue Curled Scottish Kale, Dwarf Siberian Kale, Dinosaur Kale,

Fordhook Giant Chard, Rainbow Chard

Purple Orach, Quelites Verdes (or Mountain Spinach- native greens)

Chichiquelite or Garden Huckleberry

Strawberry Spinach- it makes sweet red berries! I swear. Saw someone growing this at high elevations in Colorado

Flowers:

Edible Viola

Corrales Azafran- use as saffron substitute or dried flowers

Calendula- medicinal and beautiful

Cosmos

Chamomile

Sunflowers- Yellow Florist’s Favorite and Drop Dead Red

Chile Peppers: Shishito, Casados Native Chile, Chimayo, Ancho/Poblano, Anaheim pepper, Tesuque Chile, Jalapeno
