Eat Mesquite and More!
Amanda has an article in this great book put out by Desert Harvesters, a group from Tucson, Arizona. They are all about local wild foods, water security, and community building.
While sadly we won't find saguaros, barrel cactus or mesquite around the land of Ampersand, there are some recipes that we can forage for. Think prickly pear fruit, cholla buds and packrats!

Tea at Cerrillos Station
