No matter the latest global saga, the plants keep growing. Each seed planted is another story of hope for this year's abundance. We are happy to provide veggie seedlings for our community, including some rare Southwest heritage species that will be fun to grow. And check out our events at Ampersand in the next couple months. Come appreciate the blooming land, build some skills, and stay on our site to bask in some sustainable fun.
Wanna know what kind of plants we have been growing for the May 6th sale? Want a little agritainment? Watch this 3 minute video we made.
Yes, we will have TOMATOES and BASIL for our May 6th plant sale! Actually, we will have five varieties of each, specifically chosen for our region and our refined culinary tastes.
Amanda has been indulging her curiosity this season, which means Ampersand is currently overrun with a broad diversity of seedlings ready for your garden. Think Tarahumara Chia, Corrales Azafran, Chiciquelites, Epazote and Santo Domingo Tobacco!
Along with these oddities, we will be selling the plants you will be looking for. Come get your Armenian Cucumbers, Shishito peppers, and the smaller fruiting tomatoes that tend to do well in our hot and arid climate.
The Sale will be a fundraiser for Ampersand and will be held in front of the Mine Shaft Tavern in Madrid, New Mexico 10am to 3pm. It'll be a hoppin' day in Madrid as there will be a big Flea Market too! Come visit our sweet little town and bring home some plants!
Thanks to everyone who made our April Plant Sale such a success!
