The Rain Provides: Living Systems for Rainwater Reliance
Online class available free for 2 months! Pass it on!
Amanda Bramble leads you through the techniques and methods for living off rainwater in the desert.
While many parts of the world have drying and warming climates, we can look to the experience of Ampersand Sustainable Learning Center to show us how to design our lives to treat clean water like the scarce and sacred thing it is. This homestead is located in the high desert of New Mexico, and relies solely on rainwater collection as a water source. With fourteen years of experience building the site and living off the systems every day, Amanda Bramble can tell you first hand how far the rain can take you.
This class covers:
- Rainwater collection design
- Greywater systems
- Household water conservation design
- Wise Water food gardening
- Methods for tracking water use
